The process itself is most crucial during a remodel, more than in any other type of construction because someone is usually home, making us guests. Our respectful, detail-oriented and clean process is driven by time-tested methods that include precise planning and scheduling and continuous communication with you, our client. By working with you as a team, we’re sure to achieve the result we all envision – a home that’s uniquely and comfortably yours.
Step 1:If you are considering a remodeling project, your first step is to contact us. We invite you to call us at 602-845-0234 or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide us with the general scope of your project. If using email or contact form, we will call you back to discuss your project further, learn about specifics and setup an appointment to meet at your home, in-person.
Step 2: We believe that the best formula for a successful remodeling project starts with open communication and a clear understanding of your ideas and expectations.
So, we’ll sit down and talk. It’s not only the right way to begin a relationship, it’s an essential part of our design and remodel process. We’ll talk about the challenges as well as the opportunities, and of course the indispensible guideline, your budget. With all that, we’ll create concepts and make recommendations that meet your objectives. During this visit we will take field dimensions and photos to help us prepare a preliminary budget and design.
Step 3: Presentation of preliminary budget and design at no obligation. Taking all the information gathered at our initial site visit we draft a preliminary budget and design. We will schedule a meeting to review these documents and allowances.
At this point if you are comfortable with Pafco Construction and make the decision to move forward with your project a retainer agreement will be executed. Our retainer agreement is not an obligation to the entire project but a mutual agreement to address project development including completed drawings, construction specifications and product selections. At the completion of the retainer agreement your project will have all documents necessary for permit submissions.
Step 4: Our design team works with you to create design ideas and layouts for the project. Working together we come up with material ideas, layout suggestions and design ideas that fit into your budget. We talk to you about true costs and ways to make your design ideas work within your budget. It is not always easy to talk about budgets but we try to make it as stress-free as possible. Once the design work is complete, we provide you with a specification list, finished blueprint drawings or plans, project schedule and a building services agreement including a fixed cost price.
Step 5: Upon obtaining the signed building services agreement and the design work is approved by you, the build phase begins. You will have our personalized attention dedicated to your project to look after every detail including coordination of all meetings with installers, permit officials, deliveries, etc. We are also available to you at all times to answer any questions or concerns you may have from the design stage to completion.
Step 6:Once completely done, we’ll do a final walk-through to make sure all is finished to your expectations before final payment. We will then present you with a package containing all the details of your project. The package includes product instruction manuals, paint colors, all warranty details and any other important information.
Step 7: After you’ve had a little time to enjoy your remodeled home, we’ll give you a call to make sure everything is to your standards. However, we encourage you to call us immediately if you have any issues. Our warranty program is exceptional, certainly another aspect that sets us apart from the competition. As mentioned, we build relationships with our clients because we want them to always consider Pafco Construction when they have a project in mind. We do this by doing things right the first time and if, by chance, a follow-up visit is needed, we’ll fix things in a timely manner. You deserve no less from an Arizona registered contractor.
